Tool turns text into epic visuals (fast)

Happy Labor Day, folks. Hope you get a day of lake living, hammock swinging, and burger grilling.

Good stuff in the holiday edition of Monday Marketing News in one moment. First, a quick how-to for creating awesome visuals just by typing in text to a tool called Napkin.ai. It’s free (currently) and is lightning-fast.

See the GIF below. Simply type or paste text in and hit the tiny blue button to the left of your text. You then get lots of options for presenting your text. Different styles are available, too, once you choose the visual.

You can then download your chart, infographic, or visual model in three formats (PNG, SVG, PDF). Or just take a screenshot of the graphic if you only need JPG quality.

See example visuals I played around with below. Unlike other AI tools, this one does not jack up your text. And I love the simplicity of the graphics.

Prompt at top. Visual: 3 common missed opportunities for brands.

1-sentence prompt produces easy-to-understand graphic.

I can sling words around in my sleep, but I’m no artist. Napkin.ai makes me 20 times better at presenting my thoughts visually than I was before I found this tool.

Need reasons to mix high-quality visuals into your content?

1. About 30% of our brain is dedicated to processing visual information. So, visuals are processed more quickly and easily than text.

2. Individuals may retain only about 10% of spoken information after three days, this retention jumps to 65% when the same information is paired with relevant visuals.

3. Studies reveal readers spend more time looking at images than reading text, making visuals a crucial tool for engaging audiences and ensuring important information is noticed.

4. Infographics reduce cognitive strain and facilitate better understanding of the material presented.
